When is the best time to get a baby (sitter / toddler/ child) photosession done?
Sitter/ toddler sessions can happen anytime between 6 month to 14 months of age.
The best time to get the sitter session done is around 7.5 months, when baby starts to sit without support.
The best time to get the toddler session done is around 11 months when baby starts to stand with out without support.
The best time to get the child session done is around 16 months when baby starts to stand and explore things around.

How do I book my session?

Can I have both indoor (studio) and outdoor session?
Is my 1st child inclided in the parents session?
What should parents wear for parents session?
Keep the clothes simple and preferably in solid similar/ matching color. You can refer to images shared in gallery. Upon receiving your confirmed booking, we will do a detailed preshoot session and styling consultation with you on call. It will cover all your queries regarding clothes and session itself.
What all do I need to bring for the baby to wear during the session?
For newborns we provide everything. You’d just need to carry basics that includes baby blanket, burp cloths, newborn size pacifiers, feed and diapers and 2 changes of comfortable clothing.
For sitters/ toddlers we are constantly building a wardrobe. Complete styling and dress options will be discussed in your presession consultation. Further, you’d just need to carry basics that includes baby blanket, burp cloths, feed and diapers and 2 changes of comfortable clothing.
For children above 14 momths of age, we dont have dress options. Parents need to carry dresses and clothes based on the styling discussion that happens during the presession consultation.
What should my husband and 1st born baby wear for the session?
How many dresses/ setups are included in baby shoot package?
What kind of hair and makeup to be done for the session?
Keep hair and makeup simple with soft curls, blow dry and basic makeup. You can handle it yourself or hire a professional. Please come ready for your session as hair and makeup artists are allowed for baby sessions.
Who all can accompany us for the shoot?
How long does the session last?
The average time for the newborn/ baby session can range anywhere between 1.5 -3.5 hours and is primarily based on the chosen package. The actual session time varies depending upon how settled the baby is. However, please come prepared for the longer session. Baby settling, feeding and posing time might vary, as each baby is different and have their little personalities.
If you are delayed?
We understand that getting ready and/or getting the baby prepped might take time, hence your session time is decided based on mutual discussion and slot availability. It’s crutial that you preplan, prepare and arrive on given time slot as we might have more than 1 session planned for the day and in different studios. 30 minutes leeway is allowed, however if late than that 20% of your package cost is charged additional as late fee.

After booking and blocking my session date, can I reschedule my session?
For any session, recheduling can be done 1 week prior without any extra charges. In case of medical emergency (supported by medical certificate) we will consider rescheduling your session at a short notice.
For rescheduling within 1 week of your session, your session can be rescheduled with 25% addional of your session cost.

Will my images be shared on social media/ your website or any other platform?
We take lot of pain and put in exceeding amount of efforts in creation of each frame, that makes for the most beautiful memories for you. Hence we showcase it on all our and other relevant, online and offline platforms that help us with branding and future business.
By default all the copyrights of the images created by us, are with us. However, you can buy copyrights to your images at an additonal charge of Rs. 10,000/- per look/ setup. On purchasing the copyrights, we don’t hold any rights to your images, transfer you entire data from your session, in it’s original format via online tranfer.
Digital image quality, delivery time, copyrights, watermarks and logo?
Unedited images are shared witin a week of the session in low resolution with watermark. All shared unedited images serve the sole purpose of selection of your favourite shots from the comfort of your home and hence are watermarked “rakshita kapoor photography – images for selection only” .
The final edited images are shared in 3-4 weeks of selection in form of maximum resolution jpegs. Each selected image is edited with extreme care and precision to avoid pixel loss while increasing the overall feel of the image. Each edit is signed with Rakshita Kapoor Photography logo.
Please note that any printed products such as photo albums, poster frames and prints will not have any logo or watermark.
