When is the best time to get a baby/ sitter photo session done?

The best time to get the baby session done is any time when the baby is between 1 month to 7 months of the age. Baby sessions are aimed at capturing various milestones of the baby new smiles and heart melting expressions, head lift, first crawl and sitting up etc. Babies grow every week, every month. with so much change in them its crucial that parents don’t just cherish the moments, but preserve them forever.

How long does the session take?

The average time for the baby session can range anywhere between 1 -2.5 hours and is primarily based on the chosen package. The actual session time varies depending upon which package and how many setups are you going with.

When should I inform you about the session date?

Baby, sitter and toddler sessions are a great way to eternalise those cherished smiles and moments. Time doesn’t stop and we can’t pause life, so hold onto your little one’s big personality by capturing moments with our milestone baby photography sessions.

What’s Cakesmash?

Cakesmash is a super fun way to capture their 1st birthday. Most babies enjoy making a mess, eating the icing and smiling while some are more inclined towards cleanliness and might cry about getting messy. Either which way is ok, it shows a side of their big personality, while we capture it for you to cherish for life.

How will you get children to pose and co-operate?

Babies – little ones with big personalities. We are adept in working with babies and children while making it all fun and games for them. We have a few methods and tricks that involves good share of fun and singing. The way we conduct our session, the child not only participates in the session, but also enjoys it, in the process giving us pictures worth of a lifetime.

What is the best time to photograph their expressions?

Babies start to express and smile at the start of 3rd month, by the 4th month they give full smiles, lift their head and by 5 month they start sitting with support followed by crawling in their 6th-7th month. It’s all these first moments, the smiles of recognition and amusing expressions that are worth preserving as an heirloom.

What all do I need to bring for the baby to wear during the session?

For babies, keep their clothes simple, elegant, comfortable and timeless. Clothes are very important part of our pictures, we try to provide clothing options based on the package selected and theme. We will further guide you to plan baby’s wardrobe in our pre-session consultation upon your booking. You can also take clothing cues from the images in the gallery shared for your reference.

What else do I bring along?

For babies, we provide everything. you’d just need to carry basics that may include a baby blanket, feed and diapers and 2 changes of comfortable clothing.

What should parents wear for parents session?

Keep the clothes simple and preferably in solid similar/ matching color. You can refer to images shared in the gallery. Upon receiving your confirmed booking, we will do a detailed pre-shoot session and styling consultation with you, on a call. It will cover all your queries regarding clothes and the session itself.

How should I do my hair and makeup?

Keep hair and makeup simple with soft curls, blow dry and basic makeup. You can handle it yourself or hire a professional. Please come ready for your session as hair and makeup artists are allowed for baby sessions.

What if I am late for my session?

We understand that getting ready during pregnancy or with the little one can be time consuming, hence session time is decided based on mutual discussion and slot availability. It’s crucial that you pre-plan, prepare and arrive at given time slot as we might have more than 1 session planned for the day and in different studios. 30 minutes leeway is allowed, however, if later than that 20% of your package cost is charged additionally as late fee.

After booking and blocking my session date, can I reschedule my session?

For any session, rescheduling can be done 1 week prior without any extra charges. In case of medical emergency (supported by medical certificate we will consider rescheduling your session at a short notice.

For rescheduling within 1 week of your session, your session can be rescheduled with 25% additional of your session cost.

Will my images to be shared on social media/ your website or any other platform?

We take lots of pain and put in exceeding amount of efforts in the creation of each frame, that makes for the most beautiful memories for you. Hence we showcase it on all our and other relevant, online and offline platforms that help us with branding and future business.

By default, all the copyrights of the images created by us, are with us. However, you can buy the copyrights to your images at an additional charge of Rs. 10,000/-. On purchasing the copyrights, we don’t hold any rights to your images, transfer your entire data from your session, in its original format via online transfer. and remove it from our systems all together after 1 month of online data transfer.

Digital image quality, delivery time, copyrights, watermarks and logo?

Unedited images are shared within a week of the session in medium resolution. All shared unedited images (1500 px on the longer side) serve the sole purpose of selection of your favourite shots from the comfort of your home and hence are watermarked “rakshita kapoor photography – images for selection only”.

The final edited images are shared in 3-4 weeks of selection in form of maximum resolution jpegs. Each selected image is edited with extreme care and precision to avoid pixel loss while increasing the overall feel of the image. Each edit is signed with Rakshita Kapoor Photography logo.

Please note that any printed products such as photo albums, poster frames and prints will not have any logo or watermark.
