When is the best time to get a newborn photo session done?

The best time to get the newborn session done is any time when the baby is between 5 to 15 days of the age. It’s the perfect time to get those perfect bundled up and curled womb like posed shots of the baby.  Once the babies crosses 15 day mark, they sleep much less and are difficult to wrap and achieve those perfect poses. A parent can better understand his/her baby, if your baby has crossed this timeline, but is a good sleeper we can very well plan a newborn session with newborn setups

When should I inform you about the session date?

Connect with us in your 8th or 9th month pregnancy. We will hold a tentative spot based on your due date. The sooner you book the better, as you can pick the slot best suited to you. Once you deliver, please contact us as soon as possible. We give preference to newborn babies and slot would be made out for you. Just be sure to schedule when the baby is still between 5-15 days. How do I book my session?

Studio or home for newborn session?

Its highly recommended to go for the studio session, as our studio is well equipped with all the  necessities needed for a beautiful session. Its:

Hygienic: Entire studio and all the newborn props, dresses and wraps are sanitised, washed and steamed after each session.

Temperature controlled: We maintain temperature of 28-32 degrees Celsius in studio for baby to be comfortable and toasty even in bare body poses.

Private changing and feeding room: Both our studios are equipped with comfortable private rooms to change and feed the baby.

We also do home sessions for parents and babies concerned about bringing the baby out of home before 40 days. Same booking process applies for home session as well. After your booking, we will connect for detailed pre-shoot consultation and will share a series of easy steps to make your home session super easy and quick for all involved.

What all do I need to bring for the baby to wear during the session?

For newborns we provide everything. you’d just need to carry basics, such as baby blanket, burp cloths, newborn size pacifiers, feed and diapers and 2 changes of comfortable clothing.

What should parents wear for parents session?

Keep the clothes simple and preferably in solid similar/ matching color. You can refer to images shared in gallery. Upon receiving your confirmed booking, we will do a detailed pre-shoot session and styling consultation with you on call. It will  cover all your queries regarding clothes and session itself.

Is my 1st child included in the parents session?

Yes, for sure. There is no family session complete without them. Please bring them along and we will make it a beautiful experience for you all.

How should I do my hair and makeup?

Keep hair and makeup simple with soft curls, blow dry and basic makeup. You can handle it yourself or hire a professional. Please come ready for your session as hair and makeup artists are allowed for baby sessions.

How long will session last?

The average time for the newborn session can range anywhere between 1 -2.5 hours and is primarily based on the chosen package. The actual session time varies depending upon how settled the baby is. However, please come prepared for the longer session. Baby settling, feeding and posing time might vary, as each baby is different and have their little personalities.

What if I am late for my session?

We understand that getting ready during pregnancy or with the little one can be time consuming, hence session time is decided based on mutual discussion and slot availability.  Its crutial that you pre-plan, prepare and arrive on given time slot as we might have more than 1 session planned for the day and in different studios. 30 minutes leeway is allowed, however if late than that 20% of your package cost is charged additional as late fee.

After booking and blocking my session date, can I reschedule my session?

For any session, rescheduling  can be done 1 week prior without any extra charges. In case of medical emergency (supported by medical certificate we will consider rescheduling your session at a short notice.

For rescheduling within 1 week of your session, your session can be rescheduled with 25% additional of your session cost.

Will my images be shared on social media/ your website or any other platform?

By default all the copyrights of the images created by us, are with us. However, you can buy copyrights to your images at an additional charge of Rs. 10,000/-. On purchasing the copyrights, we don’t hold any rights to your images, transfer you entire data from your session, in it’s original format via online transfer. and remove it from our systems all together after 1 month of online data transfer.
